Our Story…

Meliora didn’t begin with a business plan—it began with family, resilience, and a deep sense of responsibility.

I was raised by a single mother, an immigrant who built a business in Miami’s Hispanic market despite not speaking English. She refused to let obstacles define her future. As her translator, I sat in meetings, negotiated deals, and watched her carve out a space in an industry that wasn’t built for people like her. Without realizing it, I was learning firsthand about perseverance, strategy, and the power of genuine connection.

But my responsibility didn’t end there—I was also a father figure to my younger brother. I worked alongside my mother, not just to help her business but to ensure he had opportunities we never did. We weren’t just surviving—we were building something better. My brother went on to serve in the U.S. Army and is now pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, a testament to the sacrifices we made and the unwavering belief that a better future is always within reach.

That same sense of purpose led me to the Marine Corps, where I’ve served since 2013. The military reinforced everything I already knew—discipline, resilience, and the belief that leadership isn’t about authority; it’s about service.

After active duty, I pursued a degree in Business Administration at UNC Charlotte, majoring in Finance with a minor in Economics. While in school, I continued helping small business owners, applying what I was learning in real time. What started as translating for my mother had evolved into solving financial and operational challenges for entrepreneurs.

Later, I took on a role as a Warehouse Manager for a medical nonprofit, where I worked closely with hospice patients. Their words stuck with me: “Take a leap of faith and travel more.” They made me realize that life is too short to play it safe. If I wanted to build something meaningful, I had to go all in.

So in 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I took that leap and launched Meliora—not just as a business, but as a mission. A mission to help business owners navigate complexity, find financial clarity, and grow with confidence. Since then, I’ve worked with retailers, construction companies, real estate firms, and entrepreneurs—helping them take control of their businesses and their futures.

But my journey didn’t stop there. Becoming a husband and a father changed everything. It deepened my purpose, reminding me why I push forward every day. I want my daughters to grow up knowing that success isn’t about titles or wealth—it’s about courage, resilience, and never giving up. And I couldn’t do any of it without my wife. She is my partner in every sense of the word—my greatest supporter, my voice of reason, and the steady presence that keeps me grounded. So, just as I once worked to create a better future for my brother, I now carry that same relentless commitment for them.

And that’s the same commitment I bring to my clients. Every business owner I work with is more than a transaction—they’re part of a shared mission. Their success is my success. I don’t just want them to survive—I want them to build something lasting, something they’re proud of, something that makes a difference. Because at the end of the day, better is always possible.
